Formed in Luxembourg in 1996, Petrograd have long occupied a distinctive place in European punk, combining melodic urgency, raw energy and a sharp political edge. Emerging from the country’s DIY hardcore scene, the band built their reputation on songs that blur the line between the personal and the political, pairing high-intensity delivery with a sound that can be both driving and melancholic. Never interested in compromise or commercial polish, Petrograd have remained true to punk’s independent spirit from the very beginning. After returning in recent years, they continue to bring the same conviction, force and emotional weight that made them such a lasting presence in the first place.

Since 2011, Luxembourg’s Adoptees have delivered fast, hook-filled punk rock with melody, attitude and zero excess. Drawing on old-school hardcore punk and punchy songwriting, the band have built a reputation for songs that are direct, catchy and made for loud, sweat-soaked live shows.
