This website is hosted by Infomaniak. Infomaniak states that customer data hosted through its services is stored in its data centres in Switzerland and describes itself, in this context, as a subcontractor / processor for customer-hosted data. Infomaniak also states that GDPR compliance still depends on how the customer operates the site, including the CMS, plugins, forms, and other website features. Switzerland is outside the EU/EEA, but it benefits from an EU adequacy decision, so personal data transfers there are generally permitted under GDPR.
For many events, we use Ticket Tailor for ticket sales and registrations. Ticket Tailor states that, for attendee data collected through an organiser’s box office, the organiser is the data controller and Ticket Tailor acts as the data processor.
Payments are processed via Stripe. Stripe states in its privacy policy that, depending on the context, it may act either as a data controller or a data processor / service provider.
Some events may be hosted by a partner venue or third party using its own ticketing system. In those cases, the relevant venue’s or organiser’s own terms, privacy policy, and ticketing conditions may also apply.
Our ticketing pages may also allow visitors to make an optional donation. Any donation made through the ticketing system is processed through the relevant payment provider and ticketing platform.
We may offer a form allowing visitors to submit their email address in order to receive ticket alerts or event-specific updates.
This is not a regular newsletter subscription unless explicitly stated otherwise. We use the information submitted through this form only for the relevant alerts or closely related event communications.
You may ask us at any time to remove your email address from these alerts by contacting us at hello@madones.lu or by using any unsubscribe option made available.
We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool.
