The Mad Ones asbl respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with applicable law, including the GDPR.
We may collect and use the personal data you provide to us, including your name, email address, ticketing details, payment-related details, donation-related details, and any information you send us when contacting us or registering for an event. We may also process limited technical data necessary for the operation and security of the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and access times.

Depending on the situation, the legal basis is your consent, the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, or compliance with legal obligations.
How long we keep it: we hold the financial record of a ticket sale or a donation – the amount, the date, the event, and the payment reference – for ten years, which is the period Luxembourg accounting law requires of us.
The name and email address attached to an order or a ticket are removed automatically eighteen months after the event. What remains after that is the financial record, which identifies nobody. Where you asked to receive event updates by email, we keep your address until you unsubscribe.
Stripe keeps its own record of a payment under its own policy and its own retention periods, which we do not control.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent where applicable, and to lodge a complaint with the CNPD in Luxembourg.

This website is hosted by Infomaniak. Infomaniak states that customer data hosted through its services is stored in its data centres in Switzerland and describes itself, in this context, as a subcontractor / processor for customer-hosted data. Infomaniak also states that GDPR compliance still depends on how the customer operates the site, including the CMS, plugins, forms, and other website features. Switzerland is outside the EU/EEA, but it benefits from an EU adequacy decision, so personal data transfers there are generally permitted under GDPR.
We sell tickets for our own events through a ticketing system that runs on this website. The Mad Ones asbl is the data controller for the data it holds, and that data is stored on our hosting at Infomaniak, as described above.
When you buy a ticket, we record your name and email address, the event and the tickets ordered, the amount paid, and the reference numbers our payment provider returns. You may also give a name for an individual ticket. We use this to issue the tickets, to admit you to the event, and to reach you if the event changes.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered in Stripe’s own payment form and never reach this website or our servers: we store only the references Stripe returns for the payment. Stripe states in its privacy policy that, depending on the context, it may act either as a data controller or a data processor / service provider.
Your tickets are sent to you by email, and the QR code on them is drawn on our own server rather than loaded from an outside image service, so opening the email does not report anything to a third party. At the door, we record that a ticket was scanned, for which day of the event, and by which member of our team.
At checkout you may tick a box to receive event updates by email. It is optional, it is never ticked for you, and buying a ticket without it does not add you to any list. Where you do tick it, you can withdraw that consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in any such email.
You can also make a donation without buying a ticket. A donation goes through the same payment provider, and we record the amount, the email address you give, and the payment reference. No ticket is issued and there is nothing to collect.
Some events may be hosted by a partner venue or third party using its own ticketing system, or tickets for a particular show may be sold through an external ticket shop. In those cases, the relevant venue’s, organiser’s or platform’s own terms, privacy policy, and ticketing conditions may also apply.
Tickets for events before we moved to our own system were sold through Ticket Tailor, and attendee data from those sales is still held there under that platform’s own terms. Ticket Tailor states that, for attendee data collected through an organiser’s box office, the organiser is the data controller and Ticket Tailor acts as the data processor.
We may offer a form allowing visitors to submit their email address in order to receive ticket alerts or event-specific updates.
This is not a regular newsletter subscription unless explicitly stated otherwise. We use the information submitted through this form only for the relevant alerts or closely related event communications.
You may ask us at any time to remove your email address from these alerts by contacting us at hello@madones.lu or by using any unsubscribe option made available.
We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool.
This website may use only cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for security, technical operation, embedded content, and basic website functionality. If non-essential cookies or third-party services are added in the future, they will be used only in accordance with applicable law.
Some pages on this website may include embedded or linked third-party content, such as YouTube videos, for example band songs or related media.
When interacting with such content, or in some cases when visiting a page containing it, personal data such as your IP address or technical browser information may be processed by the relevant third party.

The Mad Ones asbl organises events at different venues. Access, admission times, age limits, bag policies, security rules, accessibility, refund handling, and other house rules may vary depending on the event and venue.
By attending an event, you agree to follow the rules applicable to that event and venue.
Tickets are subject to availability and to the conditions stated at the time of purchase.

If an event is cancelled, postponed, moved, or materially changed, we will communicate the applicable procedure for refunds, exchanges, or rebooking.
Alcohol may be sold or served at certain events where permitted.
We may request proof of age and reserve the right to refuse the sale or service of alcohol where required by law, by the venue, or for safety reasons.
Photos or videos may be taken during events for documentation and communication purposes.
