The Haermorrhoids (DE)
Simple chords, breakneck tempos and a taste for the ridiculous define The Haermorrhoids, Hamburg’s devotees of classic pop-punk. Formed in 2014, the quartet draw on the Ramones, Screeching Weasel and The Lillingtons, packing their songs with bright melodies, trashy humour and sci-fi oddities. Their 2023 album At the Earth’s Core and 2025 EP Treatment favour concise songwriting, with most tracks clocking in around two minutes. Onstage, songs arrive in rapid succession, with guitarist Greg and drummer Yannik sharing vocal duties and barely a pause before the next count-in.
