Formed in 2001, Extinct stood strong as one of Luxembourg’s most active punk bands, tearing through hundreds of shows across Europe with a sound built on anger, social awareness, street punk grit and hardcore energy.

Hailing from Germany’s rural Saarland, Summer Returns blend punk rock, alternative and emo into a melodic, heartfelt sound shaped by urgency, warmth and restless energy.

ULTRANOTHING (LU)

Leaning into post-punk, noise rock and gloomier textures, Luxembourg’s UltraNothing trade in angular riffs, bleak atmosphere and a restless, abrasive intensity.

For years, P.O.Box have flown the flag for French ska-punk, mixing brass, speed and melody with a DIY spirit and an infectiously upbeat energy.

WASTED YEARS (DE)

PROJECT 54 (DE)

Germany’s Project 54 operate in a bright, singalong corner of pop-punk, built on upbeat tempos, easy hooks and a deliberately uncomplicated live spirit.

FOREST POOKY (FR)

WEAKONSTRUCTION (LU)

Emerging from Luxembourg’s long-running punk network, Weakonstruction keep things raw and straightforward, with punk songs built around honesty, grit and lived-in experience.

NOT FOR $ALE (LU)

Back in action after an earlier incarnation, Luxembourg’s Not For $ale bring together punk energy, melodic lift and a clear DIY instinct.

From the south of Belgium, The Thrushes favour punchy melodic punk, combining speed, hooks and a fun-first attitude rooted in 1990s and 2000s influences.

RISIKO.DELUXE (DE)

With a more tongue-in-cheek edge, Risiko.Deluxe deliver German punk shaped by punchy riffs, blunt slogans and a style that stays playful without losing bite.

WAFFLE KILLERS (LU)

Luxembourg trio Waffle Killers pull together grunge, punk and hard rock, leaning on raw riffs, loud dynamics and a young band’s sense of lift-off.

MAYKO (LU)

Working from Luxembourg, Mayko moves outside straight punk into a more personal, modern solo format built on melody, mood and self-produced songs.

GOB (CA)

Canada’s Gob bring classic skate-punk and pop-punk energy, built on sharp hooks, fast guitars and the kind of choruses that still hit hard live.

PUBLIC SERPENTS (US)

Led by former Choking Victim member Skwert, Public Serpents mix ska-punk, folk-punk and streetwise grit into songs that stay ragged, political and catchy.

TIGERYOUTH (DE)

JAWKNEE MUSIC (DE)

From Trier, Jawknee Music sits in the melodic punk singer-songwriter lane, turning heartfelt writing and road-worn energy into direct, hooky songs.

French trio La Faiblesse bring together punk immediacy, emotional weight and a more literary streak, giving their songs both tension and real melodic pull.

A PLACE IN THE SUN (IT)

Italy’s A Place in the Sun deliver fast, melodic punk rock with a bright, urgent edge, balancing pop-punk immediacy with a sharper European skate-punk drive.

MALLOWS (LU)

Fronted by a late-1990s and early-2000s pop-punk sensibility, Luxembourg’s Mallows mix catchy choruses, clean energy and a polished but still youthful momentum.

IMMATURES (FR)

From northern France, Immatures play punk rock that stays melodic and direct, with a warmer, more reflective side running underneath the guitars.

GOFAI (LU)

Among Luxembourg’s harsher underground acts, GOFAI blur punk, noise rock and hardcore abrasion into something violent, chaotic and deliberately overwhelming.
