Formed in Orange County in 1993, Ignite have long stood among melodic hardcore’s most enduring names, pairing speed, urgency and anthemic hooks with politically charged lyrics. Over more than three decades, the California band have built a worldwide following with songs that balance raw intensity and emotional weight, without ever losing sight of the message at their core. After opening a new chapter with vocalist Eli Santana, Ignite returned re-energised on their 2022 self-titled album, proving that their sound could evolve without losing any of its conviction. On stage, that same mix of melody, power and purpose continues to make them a fierce and compelling live band.

COSMOGON (LU)

Formed in Esch-sur-Alzette in 2011 out of the ashes of Luxembourg underground names Ex Inferis and Abstract Rapture, Cosmogon have built a sound that pulls together groove, thrash and metalcore with a hard-rock sense of weight and drive. Over the years, they have become a firm presence in the local heavy scene, balancing muscular riffing with a strong feel for hooks, atmosphere and momentum. Their 2022 album Penumbra marked a significant chapter, showing a band still sharpening its identity rather than settling into routine. On stage, Cosmogon bring that same mix of force, precision and grit, delivering a set built to land hard in the room.

WEAKONSTRUCTION (LU)

Formed in 2005 in the north of Luxembourg, Weakonstruction have long embodied the scrappy, community-rooted spirit of the country’s punk scene. Emerging from the band’s earlier Rebellux days, they built their name on fast, direct songs, DIY commitment and the kind of unpolished honesty that gives local punk its staying power. Their 2013 album Reinventing Ourselves captured that mix of melody, speed and rough-edged conviction, while the band’s place in the scene was thrown into even sharper focus after the death of frontman Pascal Alff in July 2025. Even through loss, Weakonstruction remain a band defined by heart, solidarity and a live set that hits with grit and feeling.
